Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Current certification and licensure for Special Education teaching (elementary and/or middle school levels)
• Experience supporting students in inclusion classrooms and implementing IEP goals
• Familiarity with K-8 curriculum, differentiated instruction, and behavior management strategies
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Commitment to fostering a positive, nurturing classroom environment

Role Highlights and Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of approximately 10 K-4th grade students in an inclusive elementary setting, providing individualized instruction and classroom support
• Collaboratively serve middle school students (7th and 8th grades), sharing a caseload of roughly 29 students in inclusive classrooms and leading targeted small group pull-out sessions as needed
• Develop and implement IEPs in partnership with families, general educators, and related service providers
• Track and report student progress, adjust instructional methods, and advocate for student needs
• Empower students with diverse abilities through differentiated teaching, positive behavior support, and ongoing encouragement
• Contribute to professional learning teams and maintain clear, proactive communication with school staff and families
