Desired Background and Qualifications:

• Current Special Education teaching license valid in Ohio
• Certification to teach at both Elementary (K-4th grade) and Middle School (7th-8th grade) levels
• Experience working in inclusive classroom settings, differentiated instruction, and small group pull-out
• Strong collaboration skills with general education staff, paraprofessionals, and families
• Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and individualized support to caseloads of approximately 10 elementary and 29 middle school students in inclusion settings
• Develop, write, and implement IEPs in accordance with state and federal guidelines
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to modify curriculum and ensure students receive appropriate accommodations
• Track student progress, complete required documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
• Utilize creative teaching strategies and behavior management techniques
• Foster a welcoming, supportive, and growth-oriented classroom culture
