Qualifications and Experience

  • Valid Special Education teaching certification required

  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver individualized special education services in inclusion classrooms for students in grades K-4 (elementary) and 7-8 (middle school)
  • Manage an elementary caseload of approximately 10 students, focusing on inclusion support
  • Support middle school students (grades 7-8) with a split caseload of about 29 students, offering both inclusion support and small group pull-out sessions
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to develop and implement IEPs
  • Track and document student progress, adapting instruction to meet varied learning needs
  • Create a welcoming, supportive environment that encourages student engagement and growth
