Special Education Teacher | Clifton, New Jersey

Make a difference in the life of a young learner as a Special Education Teacher providing direct support to a preschool-aged student in a long-term care facility. This role involves delivering specialized instruction for 10 hours per week, split across at least three days to best accommodate the needs of the student and facility. Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education certification required
• Experience supporting preschool-aged children or early intervention strongly preferred
• Ability to collaborate with care facility staff and families to implement IEP goals
• Solid communication and documentation skills
• Adaptable, patient, and creative approach to teaching

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging lessons designed for the student’s unique needs and abilities
• Implement IEP goals and monitor student progress
