Desired Qualifications:

• Valid New York State Educator License with Special Education endorsement
• Ability to write, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Experience collaborating with related services staff such as speech, occupational, and physical therapy professionals
• At least 2 years of recent experience as a Special Education Teacher strongly preferred
• Strong teamwork, adaptability, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Co-teach English and Social Studies for a group of Grade 8 students, employing evidence-based instructional strategies
• Share a manageable caseload (approximately 13 students) and foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment
