Several openings are available, each tailored to specific grade bands: K–2nd, 3rd–5th, 5th–7th, and 8th–10th. Enjoy a consistent Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with standard holiday and spring breaks, and approximately 35 hours of instructional time each week. Desired Qualifications:

  • Active New York State Special Education (Students with Disabilities) license, or working towards NY State certification.
  • Open to candidates with a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Special Education; preference given to Master’s level educators.
  • Experience in writing and managing IEPs.
  • Willingness to work collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Recent graduates or those with out-of-state credentials welcome—support available for certification transfer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized instruction and adapt curriculum for students K–12 according to IEP objectives.
  • Evaluate student progress and modify teaching strategies to support learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and service providers to foster student achievement.
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to student performance and IEP compliance.
  • Participate in professional development and contribute to a positive school culture.
