Soliant is seeking a Special Education Teacher to support students in an elementary-level specialized program serving learners with social, emotional, and behavioral needs. This role focuses on providing targeted instruction, behavior support, and individualized programming within a structured, therapeutic environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct instruction aligned with IEP goals in a specialized classroom setting

Implement behavioral strategies and supports to foster positive student outcomes

Collaborate with related service providers, behavior staff, and general education teams

Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation

Participate in IEP development, meetings, and ongoing case management
Qualifications:

Active Connecticut Special Education certification required (or eligibility)

Experience supporting students with social-emotional and behavioral challenges preferred

Strong classroom management and communication skills
