Connecticut Elementary Special Education Teacher Needed

Soliant is seeking a Special Education Teacher to support students in an elementary-level specialized program serving learners with social, emotional, and behavioral needs. This role focuses on providing targeted instruction, behavior support, and individualized programming within a structured, therapeutic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction aligned with IEP goals in a specialized classroom setting

• Implement behavioral strategies and supports to foster positive student outcomes

• Collaborate with related service providers, behavior staff, and general education teams

• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation

• Participate in IEP development, meetings, and ongoing case management

Qualifications:

• Active Connecticut Special Education certification required (or eligibility)

• Experience supporting students with social-emotional and behavioral challenges preferred

• Strong classroom management and communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a structured team environment
