Special Education Teacher in Clinton, SC

Qualifications and Experience:

• Certification as a Special Education Teacher (or eligibility for certification)
• Experience in middle school settings and with resource programs preferred
• Knowledge of IEP processes, implementation, and compliance
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs
• Passion for collaboration with general education staff, parents, and therapists

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver resource instruction and individualized support to middle school students with varying learning needs
• Develop, monitor, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Adapt lessons and materials for students in pull-out or inclusion settings
• Work closely with classroom teachers and support staff to ensure student success
• Track progress, maintain documentation, and report on student achievements
