Special Education Teacher - Clovis, New Mexico

Key areas of focus include high school English and Biology (requiring secondary certification), middle school resource support, intensive learning centers at multiple elementary sites, a combined pullout/inclusion caseload, and Pre-K special education services. You’ll collaborate closely with school staff and families to create nurturing, effective learning environments tailored to each student’s needs.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid New Mexico teaching license with the appropriate SPED endorsement
• High school English or Biology certification for specific high school roles
• Previous experience working with students across different grade levels is preferred
• Strong skills in IEP development and classroom management
• Ability to adapt instructional methods to diverse learning needs
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
