Special Education Teacher in Clyde, OH

An exciting full-time opportunity is available for a dedicated Intervention Specialist to provide support for middle school students in a dynamic educational environment. This contract position runs from August 25th through May 28th, 2027, offering a meaningful and rewarding role in helping students succeed.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid licensure or certification as a Special Education Teacher or Intervention Specialist
• Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs, preferably in grades 6-8
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
• Ability to adapt instruction and interventions within a general education classroom setting
• Commitment to fostering inclusion and student growth

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver push-in services to a small caseload of twelve students in grades 6-8
• Collaborate with general education teachers to adapt lessons, employ accommodations, and facilitate differentiated instruction
• Monitor and document student progress toward individualized goals
• Develop and maintain supportive relationships with students, empowering them to reach their full potential
• Participate in IEP meetings, conferences, and professional development as required
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure students' academic and social success in inclusive settings
