Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current certification/licensure as a Special Education Teacher
• Demonstrated knowledge of affective needs and experience working with students with emotional and behavioral disabilities
• Expertise in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong collaborative skills, able to communicate effectively with staff, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Adaptable, patient, and committed to evidence-based instruction and positive behavioral support

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Designing and delivering individualized instruction tailored to each student’s affective needs
• Managing classroom environments to promote engagement, safety, and growth
• Developing, reviewing, and updating IEPs in partnership with educational teams and families
• Tracking student progress, documenting data, and reporting outcomes
• Implementing positive behavioral interventions and supports to address social and emotional development
• Participating in meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development as needed
