• Valid Colorado Special Education Teacher credentials
• Hands-on experience managing IEPs and compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Capable of fulfilling all general duties of a special education teacher, including delivering differentiated instruction and supporting student growth
• Able to collaborate effectively with colleagues, families, and support staff
• Demonstrates a strong work ethic, growth mindset, and positive attitude

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction to students in accordance with their IEP goals within self-contained or resource classroom environments
• Assess student progress regularly and adjust instructional strategies to maximize learning outcomes
• Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to individual student needs while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain organized, timely records and documentation as required by school and district policies
• Foster an environment promoting inclusion, respect, and equitable opportunities for all learners
• Engage in regular communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and program plans
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and ongoing professional development
