Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Colorado Special Education Teacher certification required
• Demonstrated experience with K-12 caseloads, including self-contained and resource settings
• Solid understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
• Proven ability to perform all general Special Education Teacher responsibilities effectively
• Strong work ethic and commitment to student growth and success
• Positive attitude and a willingness to embrace challenges with a solution-focused mindset
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with support staff, families, and administration

Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver individualized instruction for a caseload of K-12 students with diverse learning needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and parents to create inclusive learning environments
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with all state and federal regulations
• Foster a supportive, engaging classroom that encourages student independence and achievement
