Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
  • Current, valid teaching certification in Special Education (state-specific or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience teaching at the elementary level preferred
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Ability to tailor learning strategies to individual student needs

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as an Elementary CSD (Communication, Speech, and Deafness) Teacher with a caseload of 12 students
  • Provide direct instruction and support tailored to each child’s IEP in a supportive, inclusive environment
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and support staff
  • Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to IEP development and review
  • Hours are 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM, ensuring a consistent daily schedule
