Special Education Teacher - Columbia City, IN

This position begins as soon as possible and extends through the end of the school year, with potential for continued employment for summer and next school year.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher license with Mild or Intense Intervention endorsement
• Experience or strong interest in supporting students with ASD and applied skills needs
• Expertise as an Autism Specialist is highly valued
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create a supportive, positive classroom environment
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to fostering inclusion and growth in a diverse elementary setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instruction and interventions for students on your caseload, ensuring individualized educational plans (IEPs) are implemented effectively

• Maintain compliance with special education regulations, documentation, and school policies
