Qualifications & Experience:

• Certified as a Special Education Teacher
• Valid teaching license
• Experience working in elementary, middle, and/or high school settings
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Ability to adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver individualized instruction tailored to student learning styles and needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in alignment with school policies and legal requirements
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to foster a supportive learning environment
• Track student progress, adjust teaching plans as necessary, and maintain thorough records
• Create an inclusive classroom in which all students are respected and encouraged to achieve
• Provide direct support and intervention for students with varied disabilities
