Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Previous experience working with middle and/or high school students preferred
• Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and compliance
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt lessons for varied learning needs
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, growth-focused learning atmosphere

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction within a resource classroom setting
• Manage a caseload of students with diverse learning needs at both middle and high school levels
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure continuity of support
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies to maximize success
• Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with all regulations
