What We’re Looking For:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification (SC license preferred; out-of-state or pending licensure considered)
• Experience or strong interest in elementary-aged students
• Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and monitoring
• Adaptability to work effectively in either resource or self-contained classrooms
• Commitment to creating positive, inclusive learning spaces
• Excellent communication and organization skills

Day-to-Day Responsibilities Include:

• Designing and adapting lesson plans to meet diverse student needs
• Assessing student abilities and tracking their progress toward IEP goals
• Collaborating with other educators, support staff, and families
• Providing instructional support in resource and/or self-contained classroom settings
• Participating in IEP meetings and compliance documentation
• Fostering a safe, respectful classroom environment that encourages all students to thrive
