Soliant is seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher for a full-time, school-based position in the Columbia, South Carolina area for the 2026–2027 school year. This Special Education teaching opportunity is ideal for educators who are passionate about supporting students with diverse learning needs and helping them achieve academic, behavioral, and social-emotional success.
As a Special Education Teacher, you will work closely with students, families, and educational teams to provide individualized instruction and ensure compliance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). The ideal candidate will be committed to creating an inclusive classroom environment where all students have the opportunity to thrive.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Deliver specialized instruction designed to meet the unique needs of students receiving Special Education services.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
• Utilize assessment data to guide instruction and support student achievement.
• Modify curriculum and instructional strategies to accommodate individual learning needs.
• Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications:
• Active South Carolina Special Education Teaching Certification required.
• Soliant offers Licensing Assistance for qualified candidates.
• Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of IEP development, progress monitoring, and Special Education compliance.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.
Education:
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Special Education or a related field.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary educational teams.
