Position Details

Job Title: Travel Special Education Teacher

Location: Near Columbia, South Carolina

Schedule: Monday–Friday, school hours

Employment Type: Travel Contract

Responsibilities

Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).

Provide specialized instruction tailored to students’ individual learning needs.

Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and school staff.

Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.

Foster a supportive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

Communicate effectively with families and school personnel regarding student development.

Qualifications

Valid South Carolina teaching certification or eligibility to obtain appropriate certification.

Special Education teaching experience preferred.

Knowledge of IEP development, accommodations, and differentiated instruction.

Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
