Key Qualifications

• Valid Ohio Special Education teaching license 
• Experience supporting students with diverse disabilities and learning needs preferred
• Knowledge of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), case management, and special education documentation
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Provide direct specialized instruction to students based on their individual academic and functional needs.
• Manage a caseload of up to 16 students at the elementary or middle school level or up to 24 students at the high school level.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Complete required special education paperwork, documentation, and progress reports.
• Track student progress and adjust instructional strategies to support individual goals.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, families, and school staff to promote student success.
