Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid North Carolina licensure as a Special Education Teacher (required)
• Demonstrated experience working with K-12 student populations
• Background in both self-contained and resource settings preferred

• Ability to perform all general Special Education instructional and compliance-related responsibilities
• Strong work ethic and commitment to fostering a growth mindset in students
• Positive attitude and effective team collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver differentiated instruction to meet the unique needs of each student
• Develop, write, and implement IEPs in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families to support student progress
• Document student performance and progress regularly
• Create a supportive, inclusive, and safe classroom atmosphere
• Participate in required meetings, professional development, and school activities
