Empower young learners by making a direct impact as a Special Education Teacher in the Concord, NH area. This full-time contract opportunity spans from August 2026 through June 2027, offering a structured Monday through Friday schedule for 32 to 37.5 hours per week. The assignment involves supporting students in both 2nd and 5th grades across two school settings, managing a caseload of approximately 15 students.

Your role will focus on instruction and individualized case management, ensuring students receive the tailored support they need to succeed academically and socially. You’ll be the pivotal link in helping each learner thrive, collaborating with colleagues and families to build a nurturing educational environment.

Qualifications or Desired Experience:

  • Valid Special Education Teacher certification for grades K-5 (or eligibility)
  • Experience with elementary-grade students in special education settings
  • Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload across multiple locations
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet evolving student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging instruction aligned with IEP goals for 2nd and 5th grade students
  • Develop, coordinate, and update Individualized Education Programs
  • Track student progress and maintain thorough documentation
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
  • Provide case management and advocacy for approximately 15 students
  • Engage in regular communication with families, faculty, and school administration
  • Support inclusion and differentiated learning strategies in classroom environments
