Qualifications:
• Valid Special Education certification required
• Previous experience with students exhibiting severe behaviors strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of IEP development and behavioral intervention strategies
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to create and maintain a structured, supportive environment
• Compassion, patience, and creativity in developing individualized learning plans

Responsibilities:
• Provide direct instruction and implement tailored curriculum for students in a self-contained classroom
• Develop, monitor, and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Proactively utilize evidence-based behavior management techniques
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families to support student success
• Document and report student progress; adjust interventions as needed
• Foster a safe, respectful, and predictable learning environment for diverse learners
