Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification for the state of New Hampshire, or eligibility to obtain one
• Previous experience working as a Special Education Teacher in a school environment strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of IEP implementation, progress monitoring, and compliance
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, working effectively with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Flexibility and adaptability to fulfill various educational needs and learning styles

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver individualized instruction based on students’ IEPs
• Assess student abilities and progress, documenting outcomes and adapting methods as needed
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families to create comprehensive educational plans
• Maintain records with accuracy and confidentiality
• Attend and contribute to IEP and team meetings as required
