Special Education Teacher in Conroe, TX

This contract opportunity focuses on working with a 3rd grade Life Skills student, delivering targeted instruction and compensatory services in an onsite setting near Conroe, TX.

You’ll have the chance to make a meaningful difference by providing individualized support to a student who requires ongoing guidance, care, and encouragement. The start date is immediate, with services delivered for six hours each week—four hours instructional, two hours compensatory—beginning August 17th and continuing through the ESY period and the upcoming full school year, through May 2027.

What You’ll Bring:

• Current Special Education Teacher certification (required)
• Proven experience teaching or supporting students with significant developmental or life skills needs
• Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and homebound service delivery
• Strong instructional and behavioral management skills
• Compassion, flexibility, and dedication to student-centered teaching
• Ability to work on-site and adapt lessons for unique environments
