Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification
- Cognitive impairment endorsement required

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Create a nurturing and structured classroom atmosphere in a self-contained setting
- Collaborate with families, instructional staff, and support personnel to promote student progress
- Adapt teaching strategies and materials for diverse learning styles and needs
- Monitor, document, and report on student achievement and behavioral development
