Special Education Teacher - Converse, Texas

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Demonstrated experience working with middle school students preferred
• Strong commitment to inclusive education and differentiated instruction
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Comfortable supporting students with a variety of learning differences in a classroom environment
• Ability to maintain accurate records and communicate progress effectively

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide in-class support to students with special needs alongside general education teachers
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Track and document student progress and participate in IEP meetings
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to best support students
• Uphold a safe, respectful, and productive classroom environment
• Adjust teaching strategies to meet diverse student needs
