Elementary 10th Grade Special Education Teacher | Converse, Texas

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Applicable teaching certification (all types of certifications accepted)
• Experience or strong interest in special education
• Strong classroom management skills in self-contained settings

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide instruction in self-contained high school or elementary classrooms (multiple elementary roles available)
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet diverse student needs
• Work closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed
• Maintain accurate records, compliance, and documentation
• Cultivate a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
