Qualifications:

• Valid New York State Educator License with Special Education Endorsement
• Working knowledge of writing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Experience collaborating with related services staff
• Minimum 2 years of recent Special Education teaching preferred
• Familiarity with ClearTrack and Woodcock-Johnson assessments is a plus

Duties:

• Teach and provide Resource & Co-Teaching support for English Language Arts, primarily for 7th and 9th graders
• Manage a caseload of up to 15 students and additional resource room participants
• Develop, monitor, and update IEPs; participate in evaluations and re-evaluations
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers and related services
