What We’re Looking For:

• Valid New York State Educator License with Special Education Endorsement
• Minimum 2 years recent experience in teaching special education preferred
• Strong knowledge and ability to write/implement IEPs; experience with evaluations and re-evaluations
• Familiarity with ClearTrack (IEP/progress monitoring) and Woodcock-Johnson (Riverside Insights) assessments a plus
• Ability to collaborate effectively with general education staff and related service providers

Key Responsibilities:

• Co-teach English Language Arts for grades 7 and 9 (resource and co-teaching model for grades 7-12)
• Manage a caseload of approximately 15 students, with additional support in a resource room setting
• Develop, update, and monitor IEPs; participate in evaluations as needed
• Communicate closely with families and multidisciplinary teams
