Special Education Teacher in Copperas Cove, TX

Full-time positions (40 hours per week) are available for dedicated educators across the district, with placement matched to your certifications, previous teaching experience, and the grade levels served (EC-12). New Teacher Orientation begins 8/3/2026, the school year starts 8/17/2026, and concludes 5/27/2027, offering a comprehensive opportunity to make a meaningful impact in students’ lives.

Qualifications:

• Valid Texas Teaching Certification required
• Must hold a Special Education EC-12 certification
• In addition, must possess at least one of the following: EC-6 Core Subjects, 4-8 Generalist, or 9-12 specific subject certification
• Demonstrated commitment to supporting all learners in an inclusive educational environment
• Strong collaboration and communication skills essential for working with colleagues, families, and support staff

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging instruction and specialized interventions in accordance with student IEPs across specified grade levels
• Collaborate closely with general education staff and other professionals to foster inclusive learning opportunities
• Develop and adapt lesson plans to accommodate diverse learning needs
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development activities
• Monitor, document, and report on student progress and behavior

You will be eligible for weekly pay and an hourly rate of $39-42, which is determined by your degree, certifications, and experience.
