Desired Background and Skills:

• Current Texas teaching certification required
• Must hold a Special Education, EC-12 certification
• A minimum score of 18 in section D of the Texas Content Competency Worksheet for Special Education Teachers
• Experience with diverse student populations is strongly preferred
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver individualized instruction to students in special education programs
• Develop and implement effective IEPs, working closely with multidisciplinary teams
