Grades 6 - 8 Grades 9 - 12 Special Education Teacher - Coraopolis, Pennsylvania

Make a meaningful difference in students’ lives by supporting their growth and success as a Special Education Teacher. This contract opportunity offers two rewarding positions working with middle school and high school students, fostering positive learning environments tailored to diverse needs.

Position #1 focuses on a middle school (grades 6–8) pull-out resource setting, providing targeted instruction and support for students with autism and emotional needs. The role’s hours run Monday through Friday, 7:55am to 3:55pm. You’ll build strong, supportive connections and help students develop essential academic and social-emotional skills.

Position #2 centers on high school (grades 9–12), co-teaching within Social Studies and English Language Arts classrooms. You will collaborate with general education teachers, providing learning support to help students meet their academic goals. This position’s schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:35am to 3:35pm.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current Pennsylvania Special Education Instructional I or II certification required
• Experience working with middle or high school students preferred
• Background supporting students with autism, emotional needs, or learning differences is a plus
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for co-teaching environments
• Dedication to differentiated instruction and individualized learning plans
