In this contract position, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers to foster inclusive classroom experiences
• Provide targeted instruction and adapt teaching strategies for diverse learning abilities
• Assess student progress regularly and update instructional approaches accordingly
• Maintain clear, consistent communication with parents, staff, and students
• Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP reviews
• Ensure all records and documentation comply with policies and reporting standards

To excel in this role, candidates should have:

• A bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field (master’s degree preferred)
• A valid California teaching credential with Special Education authorization
• Experience working with students with moderate/severe or mild/moderate disabilities
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with colleagues across disciplines
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
