Special Education Teacher in Corona, CA

Make a meaningful impact by supporting students with special needs as a Special Education Teacher for the 2024-2025 academic year. This onsite contract role offers five openings with opportunities to focus on either moderate/severe or mild/moderate specialties at a location near Corona, CA. Work alongside passionate educators and help shape inclusive, engaging classrooms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers to promote inclusive educational settings
• Assess student progress regularly, adapting teaching methods and materials as necessary
• Deliver direct instruction and support for students across a range of disabilities
• Foster open, effective communication with students, families, and staff
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and work as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Maintain accurate, timely records in compliance with state and federal requirements

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or closely related field (Master’s degree preferred)
• Valid California teaching credential with appropriate Special Education authorization
• Previous experience working with students identified with mild/moderate or moderate/severe disabilities
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Dedication to collaboration and creating positive learning environments for every student
