Key Experience & Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification (state-specific or eligible)
• Strong background in special education instruction, particularly at the high school level
• Experience working within inclusion classrooms and collaborating with general education teachers
• Proficient in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Solid communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families to support diverse learning needs

Daily Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging instruction to students with varying abilities in an inclusive high school setting
• Modify curriculum to accommodate individual learning differences
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and administration to promote student progress
• Track and document student growth according to IEP goals
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student performance and strategies for continued development
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations relating to special education
