Qualifications:

• Licensed or credentialed in Oregon as a Special Education Teacher
• Background working with K-12 students in self-contained or resource classrooms
• Proficient in developing, implementing, and maintaining IEPs
• Strong interpersonal skills to foster communication among students, families, and school staff
• Committed to inclusive teaching methods and differentiated instruction
• Ability to demonstrate flexibility, initiative, and strong ethical standards

Responsibilities:

• Develop and tailor individualized education plans (IEPs) according to each student’s needs
• Deliver engaging, standards-based lessons in accordance with IEP goals
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and parents to implement accommodations
• Track student progress and maintain accurate records
• Participate fully in multidisciplinary meetings, ongoing professional development, and school initiatives
