This contract opportunity runs from the start of the 2026/2027 school year until Thanksgiving. The schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, ensuring you’re immersed in a dynamic educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Minnesota Special Education Teaching License required
- Learning Disabilities (LD) licensure is strongly preferred
- Experience working with high school students in special education settings
- Background in reading intervention and executive functioning support
- Demonstrated ability with IEP implementation, progress monitoring, and academic accommodations
Preferred Experience:
- Previous high school SPED experience
- Proven skills supporting students with executive functioning needs
- Experience in reading interventions
- Adaptability to join and collaborate within established educational teams
Role Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of high school students identified with learning disabilities
- Deliver targeted reading intervention and executive functioning support
- Provide specialized instruction and support academic accommodations to promote student success
- Implement individualized education programs and monitor progress toward goals
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and families to create a supportive learning environment
