What We’re Looking For:

• Valid Oregon Special Education Teacher certification or eligibility
• Previous experience developing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs
• Background working with various instructional models, such as self-contained, inclusion, resource, or co-teaching
• Strong interpersonal skills to foster collaboration with staff, students, and families
• Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet individual student needs
• Commitment to maintaining a positive classroom environment that promotes academic and social-emotional growth
• Excellent organizational skills, a proactive work ethic, and an adaptable, growth-oriented mindset

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support for students with disabilities in a variety of educational settings, tailored to student-specific IEP goals
• Assess, track, and document student progress; collaborate on multi-disciplinary teams to refine instructional plans
• Communicate regularly with families, case managers, and related service providers to ensure services are aligned and effective
• Manage classroom routines, implement accommodations and modifications, and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
• Participate in IEP meetings and advocate for the needs of students
