  • x2 Resource Teachers, working with grades K-5 (specifically, K-2 and 3-5)
  • x1 Core Replacement Teacher, supporting grades K-5

Key Qualifications:

  • Credentials and certification required to work as a Special Education Teacher
  • Experience working with elementary school-aged children preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Adaptability and a passion for helping diverse learners succeed
  • Ability to work onsite, following the school’s schedule and protocols

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and small-group instruction tailored to students’ IEPs
  • Develop and implement lesson plans for K-5 learners with varying needs
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and administrators to ensure cohesive support systems
  • Track student progress and participate in IEP meetings as needed
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
  • Communicate effectively with families on student progress and needs
