Step into a dynamic educational environment as a Special Education Teacher, supporting K-6th grade students in a resource, push-in, and pull-out setting. The workday runs from 7:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, providing a consistent and predictable schedule for planning, instruction, and collaboration.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education (or eligibility for state licensure)
- Demonstrated experience working with elementary-aged students in special education
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Familiarity with both resource room and classroom support models
- Strong collaboration skills, particularly with paraprofessionals and general education teachers
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction to K-6th grade students across a variety of learning needs
- Utilize resource, push-in, and pull-out models to address goals outlined in students’ IEPs
- Work collaboratively with para support and other education professionals to ensure a positive, successful learning environment
- Track student progress and adjust instructional approaches to best meet individual needs
- Engage in regular communication with caregivers and staff to enhance student growth and development
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with special education regulations
