Special Education Teacher in Coyote, NM

Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students across PreK through high school as a Special Education Teacher. In this position, you’ll work with approximately 10 students, balancing both inclusion and pullout instructional models to meet individual learning needs. Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid state licensure or certification in Special Education
• Experience or passion for working with diverse learners from PreK to high school
• Ability to differentiate instruction and modify curriculum to address individual education plans (IEPs)
• Familiarity with both inclusion classroom models and pullout support
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Flexibility to adapt as scheduling hours are finalized

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver instruction and interventions tailored for a caseload of approximately 10 students
• Support both small group/individualized pullout settings and co-teaching within general education classrooms
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Engage and collaborate with other educators, administrators, and families to support student progress
• Maintain documentation, progress reports, and compliance in alignment with school and state guidelines
