Special Education Teacher

Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated Elementary Special Education Teacher for a full-time Resource/Inclusion opportunity in Crandall, Texas. This position is open to both local candidates and traveling educators who are passionate about supporting students with diverse learning needs.

Position Details

• Location: Crandall, TX

• Start Date: October 19, 2026

• End Date: May 21, 2027

• Schedule: Full-Time | 40 Hours per Week

• Setting: Elementary Resource/Inclusion

• Certifications Required: Texas Special Education EC–12 and appropriate Core Subjects/Generalist certification

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction and academic support to elementary students receiving special education services.

• Deliver resource and inclusion services based on individual student needs.

• Collaborate with general education teachers to modify lessons and implement classroom accommodations.

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

• Track student progress and adjust instructional strategies to support academic growth.

• Support students in developing foundational reading, writing, and math skills.

• Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages student independence and success.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Special Education EC–12 certification required.

• Active Texas Core Subjects/Generalist certification required.

• Previous elementary special education or inclusion experience preferred.

• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.
