Key Qualifications:

  • Valid SPED EC-12 certification (required)
  • Additional content area certification (strongly preferred)
  • Prior experience supporting middle school students in inclusion settings is a plus

  • Flexibility and adaptability in new environments

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction and support to middle school students within inclusion classrooms
  • Collaborate with general education teachers and service providers
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Foster a positive, supportive classroom environment
  • Track student progress, maintain documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
