Key Qualifications:

  • Current Special Education Teacher license/certification
  • Elementary Resource/Inclusion experience required
  • Both Special Education and Core/Generalist certifications (SPED and generalist cert)
  • Enthusiasm for adapting to new environments and working with diverse student populations
  • Strong communication, organization, and team collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality instruction and support to elementary students in resource/inclusion classrooms
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs and learning strategies
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
  • Foster a positive learning environment that maximizes student independence and growth
  • Maintain thorough, up-to-date documentation of student progress
