Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Valid teaching certification with a Special Education endorsement
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field (Master’s degree a plus)
• Prior experience teaching special education classes or working with students with disabilities
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement individualized educational programs for students with special needs
• Adapt instructional materials and methods to meet each student's learning styles and abilities
• Assess and track student progress, adjusting interventions and supports as needed
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
• Work closely with classroom teachers, therapists, and support staff to coordinate services
