Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching license (mild to moderate or severe)
- Prior experience in an elementary classroom or with students with developmental needs is highly valued
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work with students, support staff, and families
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles and individualized education plans

Role Responsibilities:
- Create and implement differentiated lesson plans for students at varying ability levels
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress toward goals
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and confidence
- Collaborate with related service providers and classroom assistants as part of a dedicated school team
- Maintain organized records and regular communication with families regarding student progress
