Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience working with students in grades 4-8
• Familiarity with resource and pull-out classroom models
• Strong classroom management and organizational abilities
• Ability to develop and adapt individualized educational plans (IEPs)
• Excellent communication skills for working with students, families, and staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver resource and pull-out instruction to students with diverse learning needs
• Adapt general education curriculum to meet each student’s IEP goals
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to ensure consistent academic support
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and strategies for success
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute as an active member of the special education team
