Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or related field
• Prior experience working as a Special Education Teacher in a school setting
• Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet individual learning needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs
• Modify classroom materials, curriculum, and teaching methods to support diverse learning abilities
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to foster a positive, inclusive learning environment
• Track and document student progress, adjusting instruction as necessary
• Provide direct instruction and supportive interventions for students with disabilities
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, professional development, and training sessions as required
