Work alongside a dedicated team, including three teaching assistants, in a vibrant, collaborative setting where your expertise will be greatly valued. Your school day runs Monday through Friday from 8:15am to 3:45pm, with a 30-minute lunch break.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Rhode Island Special Education Teacher Certification required
• Previous experience teaching special education at the elementary level is highly desirable
• Ability to work collaboratively with teaching assistants and support staff
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Passion for adapting instruction to meet a variety of learning needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instruction and interventions to a class of approximately eight elementary-age students
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Foster an inclusive, positive, and structured classroom environment
• Collaborate with TAs and other educators to support student success
• Communicate regularly with families and provide progress updates
