Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification/license
• Experience partnering in co-taught classroom settings, ideally across grades 3–4 and 7–8
• Instructional expertise with diverse learners and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong collaboration skills to work closely with fellow teachers and support staff
• Clear communication and effective classroom management abilities

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction within general education classrooms to meet individual student needs
• Collaborate with staff in co-teaching models for both grades 3–4 and 7–8, serving caseloads of fewer than ten students per site
• Implement and monitor IEPs and provide data-driven progress reports
• Participate in parent conferences, IEP meetings, and school initiatives
• Contribute to a supportive, positive school community through active engagement and teamwork
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and school guidelines for special education
